With a number of new prospects in Asia, we are excited to announce that Ch. Usman Ali has joined the RCS team in January to lead RCS’s work in Asia. Usman has over eighteen years of experience in a broad range of areas related to public and private sector development and adds additional regional and thematic expertise to our portfolio of services. He is a results-oriented expert in competitiveness assessment and promotion, training, international/local finance, real estate & investments, business planning and linkages, total quality management in manufacturing and services, resource mobilisation, governance, environmental issues, value chain development, food security, agriculture & rural development. Usman has led multidisciplinary technical assistance teams of experts in over 50 major projects in Asia, Africa and in the Americas. He is a leading expert in artisanal and small scale mining, alternate livelihood, human security, conflict resolution, conflict minerals and has advised various governments and organisations. He is proficient in English, Urdu and Punjabi, other regional languages and has intermediate Spanish.
